Our Mission
We stand at the end of a long civilizational cycle. The West — the most successful civilization in human history — is being dismantled from within by a leftist, suicidal death cult - envy driven marxists: DEI, identity politics, aggressive secularism replacement migration, the war on the family, the destruction of native peoples and their heritage, and Keynesian economic, punishing the productive and rewarding the unproductive, degrowth etc.Our ancestors were smart; they crafted this great civilization. They were us — just as capable, just as flawed — and they built ordered liberty, civic virtue, and a Christian faith that elevated the Greco-Roman archetype into something eternal. Renovatio Roma is the deliberate restoration of that spirit. Rome is not a costume or a literal empire to be resurrected in 2026; it is the eternal archetype of a responsible, virtuous, faith-filled and honour-driven people who treat power as sacred duty, whilst also fearing and disdaining its abuse.We do not simply “go back”. We move forward by remembering what worked. Christianity will once again be the true unifying force of Europe, replacing artificial, modernist and bureaucratic EU Institutions with organic cooperation rooted in shared legacy and the Church — strong enough to prevent brother-wars and direct our strength outward against real external threats.
Our Core Principles
Ancestral Wisdom: Our forebears created the West through trial, error, and genius. We reject the lie that they were ignorant bigots. We study the Classics, the Bible, and the full Western canon with both humility and pride.Christian Faith as Civilizational Core: We are unapologetically Christian. The ultimate horizon is one reunited Church of Christ. We must work towards achieving communion between the two closest Churches of Europe, and the most ancient – The Orthodox rooted in Greco-Roman tradition, and the Catholic Church rooted in Latin-Roman tradition.These two historic lungs of Christianity must both be respected, and we must engage them in increased dialogue – while also making sure to respect both of these longstanding traditional pillars of Western Culture. One will not submit to the other, as both must be entirely subject to Christ. In time, we will grow to engage our Protestant brothers as well.True Liberty: We stand for negative rights and personal responsibility above all. Free speech is non-negotiable. We admire the Founding Father’s of America’s emphasis on citizen responsibility and the civitas, tempered always by a shared Christian moral code. Decadent, anti-social behaviour is not liberty – it is a loss of agency and personal responsibility, and our societal standards must regulate them – not top down, strict laws.Small but Strong State: The state must not suffocate the economy. We follow the Austrian School of economics: incentives for virtue and productivity, not punishment of success. A small state is not a weak state — the British Empire at its height controlled one-fourth of the globe with a state that was about 10% of its own economy.Church and State in Symphony: Political power and clerical authority remain separate. Rulers and the Clergy remain separate, but that does not bar intermingling. Culturally we demand that those who govern fear God. Old secularism worked because leaders still read the Bible, prayed, and knew the Classics. New secularism fails because modern politicians and society killed God, as Nietzsche put it.European Restoration: Europe is fracturing; we restore her first under the Renovatio Roma. America will restore herself in parallel. The two will naturally cooperate as branches of the same Western civilization. Intra-European cooperation must be rooted in Christian tradition and history, as well as shared Legacy from Rome to the Congress of Vienna — not bureaucratic uniformity. We must prevent another cycle of brother-wars while facing external threats together. The World Wars are what brought us to this terrible state.Virtue over Vanity: We call out excess, hedonism, vanity, purity tests, and oppression olympics. We normalize love of one’s own country, people, and faith. We reject totalitarianism, fascism, nazism, atheism, communism-marxism and any ideology that treats man as an economic unit or blank slate to shape in it’s twisted vision. We embrace Heroic Monarchy, Parliamentarism, Republicanism and Democracy. We entrench and glorify Property Rights, Freedom, Meritocracy and personal responsibility.Anti-Tyranny Shield: Sic semper tyrannis. We are the eternal enemy of every form of tyranny over the mind and body of man. Within the Church we shall find protection, no one is above God, our Lord, Jesus Christ.But the Renovatio Roma, just like Rome did, just like Europe does, will continue to adapt and grow. This is not the finnish line, this is just the beginning.
The three Wings
Renovatio Roma is not a single-issue movement. To restore the European soul we must act on three inseparable fronts at once. Each wing addresses a vital pillar — Faith, Culture, and Liberty — working in harmony under the eternal Roman spirit.
Ecumenical Wing – Ecclesia Unita
The beating heart of Renovatio Roma. We work practically for the revitalization of Christianity in daily life — prayer, Scripture, and restoring the Church’s historic role in culture. Our long-term goal is full communion between the Catholic and Orthodox Churches through genuine dialogue and shared work, not forced unity. When East and West stand together again, Europe will remember who she is.
Cultural Wing – Mos Maiorum
The guardian of European memory. We revive the Western Canon (Homer, Virgil, Cicero, Plato, the Bible, Dante, Shakespeare etc. ) and marry Roman republican virtues, with Christian ones. We restore manly and womanly virtue, martial discipline, aesthetic beauty, and the sacred roles of motherhood and fatherhood. We defend our culture against modernism while building traditions our children will proudly inherit.
We will regain and protect our honor.
Libertas Wing - Libertas et Virtus
The vocal shield against tyranny and the guardian of personal responsibility. We defend free markets, private property, sound money, and the true anthropology of man — made in the image of God, not a blank slate economic unit. We take the fight to marxism in all its forms while proving that a free and virtuous people need no total state.
We reject socialism and demagoguery.
